About Us

Jeremy Vermilyea

At 20 years old, Jeremy is the youngest of four siblings, but definitely not the smallest. Jeremy graduated high school in June of 2015 from Cabarrus High School in North Carolina. Wanting to be closer to his family and lifelong friends, he promptly moved back to Beaufort, South Carolina, after achieving his high school diploma. With his easy-going, fun character and keen ability to analyze and problem solve on the fly, Jeremy accepts and accomplishes any challenges that he may face with a friendly smile, meticulous approach, and ambitious attitude, which is unmatched by most young adults his age. We are all so proud of everything he has accomplished. We are truly blessed to have him back home in South Carolina with us, and fortunate to have him as a part of the Grimestopper's, LLC crew!

Jay Vermilyea

In 2014, Jay was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. In return, that baby girl was gifted with an amazing, loving, and incredibly devoted daddy, and his family couldn't be more proud of the two of them! His devotion shines bright as he works at The Brick Chicken restaurant as a grill cook when he isn't spending his days with his brothers working with Grimestopper's, LLC. Since the birth of his daughter, he has been firing on all cylinders, and we can't remember the last time he didn't have a smile on his face.

Prior to being a father, Jay's energetic personality led him into a local rock band where he took control of the lead vocals in the band Our Legacy, but that venture has been put on hold for now. Jay is a bright, charismatic young man with a huge heart and an astonishing personality to say the least. His playful outlook on life and aggressive work ethic is truly inspiring, and we are grateful to have him as a brother, and now, as part of the crew!

Now Get To Work! ;)

Joshua Vermilyea

Our owner, Joshua, is an honest, compassionate, hard working, and respectful individual. He has an astounding passion for plants and animals that has continued to grow ever since his grandmother, Sandra Vermilyea (Mimi), introduced him to "nature walks", that they would go on daily when he was growing up. She illustrated the importance of being kind and genuine, and thus inspired him to actively get involved in volunteering with local organizations and doing wildlife rehabilitation himself. "Everything deserves a chance at life."

Joshua has a distinct work ethic that helps define his fun, yet professional personality. His hard work, drive, and critical attention to detail were all passed down to him from his grandfather and best friend, Jim Vermilyea. Joshua's hero and role model.

Joshua has always had a remarkable ability to bring a smile to the faces of everyone that he meets, and he takes the utmost pride in every project that he is involved in. He and his company consistantly endevour immaculate results that are truly impressive, each and every time. His biggest frustration is seeing something that is gorgeous, but is hidden behind a layer of "grime". So it's no surprise that Joshua created Grimestopper's, LLC.
